Job Overview

This position is based at Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel by Tivoli in Doha, Qatar. The dry cleaner plays an important part in making sure guest garments, staff uniforms, linens, and other fabric items are cleaned, pressed, and cared for to hotel standards. The role supports fast turnaround times, hygienic handling, and a polished guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Run dry-cleaning, washing, drying, and pressing equipment as needed.
• Care for guest apparel, employee uniforms, and hotel linen items.
• Check each item for stains, damage, and any special handling notes.
• Use suitable stain-treatment methods and approved cleaning chemicals.
• Separate garments by fabric, color, and required cleaning process.
• Package, fold, and return cleaned items to guests or the relevant department.
• Monitor equipment condition and report faults or breakdowns promptly.
• Store and use laundry chemicals correctly and safely.
• Follow all hygiene, safety, and quality procedures set by the hotel.
• Keep the laundry space clean, orderly, and well maintained.
• Respond to guest laundry requests in a courteous and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records for guest laundry and dry-cleaning orders.

Requirements

• Experience in a hotel laundry or dry-cleaning environment is preferred.
• Understanding of fabric care and stain-removal methods.
• Ability to work with laundry and pressing machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and solid time management.
• Basic communication ability.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Physical fitness to stand for long periods and lift laundry loads.
