Overview
We are looking for an Estimator for a permanent position in Swindon or London. The role offers flexible working arrangements, including full site-based, hybrid, or remote working depending on the project and requirements. This is a full-time position with 37.5 working hours per week and an immediate start preferred. The salary is up to £70,000, depending on experience, along with a car allowance of £5,750.
What you will be doing
- Develop detailed and reliable pricing for tender submissions.
- Provide pricing input and commercial support to clients during early contractor involvement stages.
- Work closely with the Bid Manager to build competitive and winning proposals.
- Use appropriate estimating methods and outputs to produce prices suited to the specific conditions and constraints of each scheme.
- Prepare budget estimates and tender pricing documents.
What we are looking for
- Experience creating accurate estimates and tender pricing.
- Ability to support pricing discussions for early contractor involvement work.
- Knowledge of NEC3 contracts.
- Familiarity with bid processes and coordination with bid management teams.
