Facade Designer

Role Overview

Mocozy Interior Solutions is looking for a skilled Facade Designer to take ownership of the design and detailing of aluminum façade solutions. This position focuses on curtain walls, glazing, windows, doors, pergolas, and related architectural aluminum products, with responsibility spanning the full project journey from early concept work to completion on site.

The successful candidate will work closely with clients to recommend the most appropriate aluminum systems, balancing design intent, technical performance, and cost-efficiency. Strong GCC experience is essential, and prior exposure to project pricing and cost estimation will be a major advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Create concept, shop, fabrication, and installation drawings for façade and aluminum systems.
• Study architectural drawings, specifications, and overall project requirements to guide the design approach.
• Coordinate effectively with architects, consultants, sales, production, procurement, and installation teams.
• Prepare material take-offs, cutting lists, project pricing, cost estimates, material submittals, and method statements.
• Carry out site measurements and provide technical assistance during fabrication and installation activities.
• Identify and solve technical challenges while ensuring the design remains practical, compliant, and high performing.
• Support and guide junior designers while upholding strong drawing quality and technical standards.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• At least 10 years of GCC experience in aluminum systems, curtain walls, and façade design.
• Hands-on experience in concept development, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, installation details, and project coordination.
• Strong exposure to project pricing, cost estimation, BOQs, and material take-offs is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; knowledge of Revit, BIM tools, LogiKal, Orgadata, or similar software is an added advantage.
• Solid understanding of curtain walls, glazing systems, aluminum windows and doors, façade detailing, and fabrication methods.
• Strong communication, presentation, technical coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with luxury residential and commercial projects is preferred.

Additional Information

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Doha, Qatar. The role requires involvement across the entire project lifecycle, including design, technical coordination, fabrication, installation, and final project delivery.
