Role Summary
We are looking for a Facilities Contract Manager to support a pharmaceutical client in Cork, County Cork, Ireland. This position offers a salary of €75,000 to €80,000, along with a 20% bonus, a €10,000 car allowance, pension, and healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, review, and break down contract and service agreements to confirm they align with legal standards, policy requirements, contracting practices, cost limits, and both company and client procedures.
- Handle customer queries related to changes in active contracts and support all stages of the contract management process.
- Develop and review proposals for new contracts or renewals, then prepare recommendations for contract award.
- Negotiate and interpret contract terms while tracking delivery against contractual commitments.
- Review contract amendments and extension requests, and advise senior management on approval or alternative options.
- Work with the Accounting team on invoicing matters and insurance-related issues.
- Take ownership of the administration and delivery of the Supplier Performance Management Program.
- Carry out additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required, together with at least four years of relevant experience and/or training.
- Practical experience in business law, contracting methods and principles, and regulatory/compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
- Working knowledge of contract database systems, software, and related modules.
- Professional certifications such as C.P.M., C.P.S.M., or N.A.C.M. are preferred, or eligibility to obtain them.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly.
- Well-developed organizational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to deliver prompt, reliable, courteous, and efficient customer service.
- Comfort handling sensitive matters in a professional and effective manner.
- Advanced understanding of financial terminology and concepts, including the ability to calculate percentages, discounts, commissions, and conduct advanced financial analysis.
- Capability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documentation and to resolve issues involving multiple possible solutions.
- Advanced analytical and quantitative capability.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Additional Information
This role is based onsite in Cork and is for a pharmaceutical client. Compensation includes a base salary of €75,000 to €80,000, plus a 20% bonus, €10,000 car allowance, pension, and healthcare benefits.
