Role Summary

We are looking for a Facilities Contract Manager to support a pharmaceutical client in Cork, County Cork, Ireland. This position offers a salary of €75,000 to €80,000, along with a 20% bonus, a €10,000 car allowance, pension, and healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, review, and break down contract and service agreements to confirm they align with legal standards, policy requirements, contracting practices, cost limits, and both company and client procedures.
  • Handle customer queries related to changes in active contracts and support all stages of the contract management process.
  • Develop and review proposals for new contracts or renewals, then prepare recommendations for contract award.
  • Negotiate and interpret contract terms while tracking delivery against contractual commitments.
  • Review contract amendments and extension requests, and advise senior management on approval or alternative options.
  • Work with the Accounting team on invoicing matters and insurance-related issues.
  • Take ownership of the administration and delivery of the Supplier Performance Management Program.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required, together with at least four years of relevant experience and/or training.
  • Practical experience in business law, contracting methods and principles, and regulatory/compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
  • Working knowledge of contract database systems, software, and related modules.
  • Professional certifications such as C.P.M., C.P.S.M., or N.A.C.M. are preferred, or eligibility to obtain them.
