Factory Manager

Role overview

Simple Bread Co. is looking for a Factory Manager to take charge of day-to-day manufacturing activities in Riyadh. The role calls for someone who can keep production running smoothly, maintain high standards of quality and food safety, and guide the team toward operational goals.

What you will do

• Oversee everyday factory activity and make sure operations stay on track.
• Create, execute, and track production plans so target output is achieved.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards, food safety rules, and all applicable legal obligations.
• Direct, support, and develop production staff to improve efficiency and overall performance.
• Watch operating expenses closely and look for better ways to use materials, labor, and equipment.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and handle corrective maintenance for factory machinery and equipment.
• Control inventory and raw material flow while working with other departments as needed.
• Compile regular operational updates and share KPIs with senior leadership.
• Drive ongoing improvement efforts aimed at reducing waste and increasing productivity.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures, labor laws, and occupational health and safety requirements.

What we are looking for

• A bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Operations Management, or a similar discipline.
• At least 5 years of factory management experience, ideally in the food, bakery, or confectionery sector.
• Hands-on background in production planning, quality management, and food safety systems.
• Strong ability to lead teams and manage people effectively.
• Good analytical thinking and sound decision-making based on operational data.
• Comfort using operational software and ERP systems.
