Field Services Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an accomplished Field Services Engineer to handle on-site deployment, setup, and ongoing upkeep of modern data center systems. This role suits someone with strong practical experience in high-performance computing environments, GPU-driven infrastructure, and advanced cooling solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and service servers and related hardware at client locations.
• Take ownership of deploying GPU-based systems, including NVIDIA A100, H100, and HGX platforms.
• Carry out advanced diagnostics, fault isolation, and on-site repairs.
• Work with liquid cooling setups, including direct-to-chip and immersion cooling configurations.
• Partner with data center teams during installations, refreshes, and capacity expansions.
• Make sure installed systems run efficiently and meet expected performance benchmarks.
• Keep accurate records of service work, system settings, and technical incidents.

Required Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in field service, data center operations, or a related setting.
• Hands-on experience working with Supermicro server hardware.
• Strong working knowledge of NVIDIA GPU deployments, especially A100, H100, and HGX systems.
• Practical experience with liquid cooling technologies.
• Established background in on-site data center rollout projects.
• Excellent troubleshooting ability and a structured approach to solving technical issues.
• Capability to work autonomously and coordinate field activities with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to coolant distribution units (CDUs) and related coolant infrastructure.
• Familiarity with high-speed networking environments.
• Experience supporting AI or HPC cluster deployments.
• Previous work with vendors such as CoolIT Systems, Vertiv, and Schneider Electric.
