Role summary

This is a full-time remote opportunity for an experienced Freight Broker. The position centers on linking shippers with carriers, arranging transportation that is both safe and on schedule, and keeping freight movement running smoothly from start to finish.

What you will do

• Arrange and oversee transportation services between shippers and carriers.
• Negotiate freight rates and secure favorable terms for shipments.
• Handle dispatch coordination and monitor shipment movement.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with customers and logistics partners.
• Manage client accounts and ensure a high standard of service.
• Address and resolve operational or shipment-related issues proactively.

Qualifications

Candidates should bring prior experience in freight brokerage and brokerage operations, along with strong customer service and account management capabilities. Comfort with dispatch coordination and transportation workflows is important, as is the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively. The role also requires someone who can work independently in a fast-moving remote setup. Familiarity with transportation management systems and logistics software is considered an advantage. A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
