Role overview

This opportunity is posted on behalf of a partner organization that handles applications and all subsequent hiring steps. The hiring company is seeking a Growth Operations Program Manager in the United States.

The role is centered on execution, coordination, and operational excellence for major growth and transformation programs in a fast-scaling healthcare environment. You will convert strategic priorities into well-run delivery across several connected workstreams, working with product, clinical, commercial, and operational teams. Success in this position depends on disciplined program management, strong systems thinking, and the ability to create order in complex, multi-stakeholder settings. Beyond monitoring progress, you will also shape the governance model that keeps initiatives moving. Your work will help align growth goals with the realities of day-to-day operations, with direct influence on business results and patient impact.

Key accountabilities

  • Build and manage a unified program roadmap covering multiple large initiatives, including milestones, dependencies, ownership, and overall progress across several cross-functional teams.
  • Convert strategic growth priorities into practical operating plans that stay aligned with product, clinical, billing, marketing, and customer-facing teams.
  • Coordinate execution across Operations, Product, Clinical, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Client Success to maintain consistent delivery.
  • Create and run governance mechanisms such as steering committees, working groups, escalation routes, decision records, and recurring operating rhythms.
  • Facilitate weekly rollout and execution meetings to review status, remove roadblocks, and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Advance readiness efforts across clinical protocols, billing workflows, member communications, and measurement design.
  • Surface and escalate blockers across functions, then drive timely resolution through structured escalation and executive involvement when needed.
  • Keep leadership informed with clear, concise updates on program status, risks, and interdependencies.
  • Improve operational processes continuously so the organization can scale growth and transformation work more effectively.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Operations, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in program management, operations, or implementation, ideally within a high-growth startup environment such as Series B to D.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex transformation programs or product rollouts with multiple workstreams.
  • Strong exposure to healthcare, health tech, or digital health, including familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations such as HIPAA.
  • Practical experience helping launch products or scaling product-led operational initiatives.
  • Comfort using project management platforms like Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, or Google Workspace.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills with the ability to handle many dependencies at once.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially when summarizing operational status for executives.
  • Ability to connect big-picture strategy with day-to-day execution through systems thinking.
  • Experience with structured change management approaches such as ADKAR or Prosci is a plus.
  • Exposure to AI tools or workflow automation is an added advantage.

Benefits

  • Annual compensation between $100,000 and $120,000.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Remote-first setup with flexibility for U.S.-based work.
  • Paid time off plus company holidays.
  • The chance to contribute to meaningful transformation in healthcare.
  • Exposure to strategic, cross-functional programs in a high-growth setting.
  • An inclusive, mission-led culture that emphasizes diversity and impact.
  • Career development in program leadership and operational excellence within a scaling organization.
