Role Summary
MENISH HOTEL is looking for a Housekeeping Attendant to keep guest rooms and shared spaces neat, safe, and well-presented. This is a full-time, on-site position in Ejisu, Ashanti Region, Ghana. The role covers daily room servicing, bathroom cleaning, corridor and common-area upkeep, bed-making, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and restocking guest supplies.
Core Duties
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas each day.
- Make beds, remove dust, vacuum carpets and floors, and mop surfaces as required.
- Replace guest amenities and restock toiletries, towels, and other supplies.
- Carry out laundry-related tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and storing linens.
- Report repair needs, hazards, or safety concerns to the relevant staff promptly.
- Respond politely to guest requests and maintain a professional attitude at all times.
- Follow hotel cleaning routines, hygiene expectations, and safety rules consistently.
Skills and Qualifications
The hotel is seeking someone who can handle housekeeping and laundry work, including the proper use of cleaning tools and equipment. Good communication and customer service abilities are important for professional interaction with guests and coworkers. Strong organization and time-management skills are needed to prioritize tasks and keep supplies and linens in order. A willingness to learn, attend training, and follow standard procedures is also essential.
Additional Requirements
Previous work in housekeeping or hotel operations is helpful, though it is not compulsory. The role requires dependability, punctuality, and flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts when needed. Candidates should also be physically able to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderately heavy items for long periods.
