Role overview
Avantor is hiring an experienced Human Resources Service Excellence and Knowledge Management Specialist to support complex business and technology work from the Coimbatore, India location. In this role, you will work with HR knowledge and data processes with a strong focus on accuracy, service quality, and operational efficiency.
You will be responsible for maintaining the quality of HR information in data systems, including time-sensitive updates and employee records, while helping build and manage knowledge resources that improve service delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Support HR knowledge management work within the Service Excellence team.
- Maintain and refresh HR knowledge assets such as FAQs, process documents, and introductory training content.
- Make sure information remains accurate, current, and easy for users to find.
- Work according to established guidelines when creating or updating content.
- Carry out regular checks to confirm that content stays relevant and useful.
- Collaborate with teammates to organize and improve knowledge base materials.
- Gather information from different sources as directed.
- Follow company policies, standards, and approved processes in all work.
- Keep HR data entries highly accurate in HR systems to support successful audits.
- Handle date-dependent employee data changes carefully and correctly.
- Analyze service processes and identify opportunities to improve knowledge usage and service efficiency.
- Apply knowledge management practices to support business goals and better operational outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in HR knowledge management, information management, or a similar area.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Practical experience with knowledge management systems and data analysis tools.
- Ability to structure, analyze, and transfer organizational knowledge effectively.
- Hands-on experience maintaining knowledge bases and performing quality checks.
- Background in a knowledge management role within HR or an HR shared services environment.
- Understanding of knowledge management principles, good practices, and current trends.
- Working knowledge of Workday and ServiceNow is preferred.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Knowledge of an additional regional language is an advantage.
