IT Project Manager

Role overview

The IT Project Manager will lead technology initiatives from planning through delivery, making sure each project is completed on schedule, within scope, and within budget. The position focuses on keeping IT work aligned with business goals while guiding teams through every stage of the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Set up project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and required resources.
• Build detailed project plans and keep stakeholders aligned on priorities and expectations.
• Coordinate day-to-day execution across developers, engineers, analysts, vendors, and business teams.
• Maintain clear communication, monitor task progress, and remove blockers as they arise.
• Track milestones, manage risks, and work through project issues to keep delivery on course.
• Use project management tools and methods to control scope, schedule, and budget.
• Share regular updates, reports, and performance insights with leadership and clients.
• Support Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall delivery styles as needed.
• Manage change requests and ensure proper documentation and quality standards throughout delivery.
• Partner with technical teams, product owners, and business units to deliver effective IT solutions.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of IT systems, software development, and project management fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience leading IT or software development projects.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall approaches.
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
• Clear communication and stakeholder management capability.
• Ability to define scope, timelines, and deliverables with precision.
• Good risk management and problem-solving ability.
• Experience using project tools such as Jira, MS Project, or Trello.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong organization and multitasking skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, resources, and schedules effectively.
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams.
• Analytical thinking and sound decision-making.
• Comfort working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.

This is a full-time onsite role based in Singapore River, Central Singapore Community Development Council, Singapore.
