Role Overview
The IT department works in a hands-on, collaborative environment where ownership and practical problem-solving matter more than rigid job boundaries. The team supports users and systems across 37 locations in Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands. This position is intended as a long-term hire, and the starting date can be arranged quickly and flexibly.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level support to internal users
- Create and onboard new user accounts in the company systems
- Set up, configure, and distribute IT equipment
- Maintain and modernize the IT infrastructure
- Administer cloud-based telephony systems
- Support IT projects and help roll out new systems and solutions
- Document systems, processes, and technical solutions
- Work closely with external vendors and manufacturers
Profile and Requirements
- Completed IT training, such as a specialist qualification in system integration, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong practical knowledge of Windows clients and servers; Linux knowledge is an advantage
- Experience with Active Directory and Office 365 administration; SharePoint and Power Automate skills are helpful
- Basic understanding of networks, hardware, and IT infrastructure
- Background in IT support and enjoyment of direct user interaction
- Good spoken and written German and English
- Independent, organized, and solution-focused working style
- Basic familiarity with Android and iOS
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to take responsibility
- Interest in improving and automating existing processes
- Fluent German skills are mandatory
- Willingness to work on site five days per week in the Nuremberg office
