About Studio B

Studio B is an expanding creative studio built around social-first thinking and VFX-driven content for major brands and entertainment partners. The team works quickly, values craft, and focuses on making content people genuinely want to keep watching.

The role

Studio B is seeking a Junior Creative Director to work alongside the Creative Director on concept development, creative shaping, and delivery. The position involves transforming briefs into compelling social ideas and guiding them through production and post-production.

This is a practical, hands-on opportunity for someone who leads with ideas, understands platform behaviour, and wants to develop into a future campaign and team leader.

Key responsibilities

  • Help lead creative work from the initial brief through to final delivery.
  • Develop and expand ideas for social content across reactive, campaign, always-on, and series-based formats.
  • Draft, polish, and improve treatments, scripts, decks, and pitches with clear creative structure and strong craft.
  • Build moodboards and gather reference material when required for projects.
  • Turn strategy into creative output by shaping the hook, insight, format, narrative, and execution.
  • Work closely each day with Producers, Directors, Editors, VFX, Design, and Talent to bring ideas to life.
  • Protect quality and consistency across all outputs so the work reflects Studio B’s tone and standards.
  • Support brand world-building, including visual style, voice, recurring formats, and show identities.
  • Take part in internal creative reviews by collecting references, responding to feedback, and helping improve the work.
  • Stay current with trends in creators, platforms, culture, and new tools, and share the most relevant insights.
  • Support shoots and post-production when needed.
  • As you settle into the role, shadow-direct shoots and eventually take on directing responsibilities for selected productions.

What Studio B is looking for

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in a creative position, such as in an agency, production company, creator-led studio, or social media team.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates social-first ideas, campaigns, scripts, decks, or content you have helped shape.
  • Strong instincts for hooks, pacing, humour, storytelling, and what works on different platforms.
  • Confidence presenting ideas internally, with an interest in building stronger external presentation skills over time.
  • Hands-on editing knowledge in tools such as Premiere or DaVinci for assembling slap comps and rough cuts.
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach, plus the ability to take feedback and move quickly through revisions.
  • Good organisation and the ability to manage several projects without missing important details.
  • Strong writing ability for treatments, scripts, pitch decks, and creative rationale.
  • An understanding of production limitations, including what is feasible, what deserves budget, and what supports the idea best.

Nice to have

  • Experience with VFX-led productions or workflows with heavy post-production.
  • Background in creator-led content or hands-on experience making content yourself.
  • Understanding of paid social priorities such as attention-grabbing openings, retention, cutdowns, and versioning.
  • Familiarity with tools like Keynote, Google Slides, PowerPoint, Frame.io, and creative AI tools.

Success in the first 3 months

  • You regularly bring strong concepts and useful references that improve project outcomes.
  • You help the team with solid research and relevant reference packs for each assignment.
  • You can receive a brief and create a strong first-pass treatment or deck with little guidance.
  • You become a dependable creative partner to Production and Post, helping work progress more efficiently.

Studio B culture

Studio B describes its culture as ambitious, fast-paced, and highly collaborative. The ideal hire is energised by momentum, cares deeply about the quality of the work, and wants to grow with a team that is actively building something meaningful.
