About the role
Braun Management supports executive teams with evidence-based analysis and clearer organizational structure when they are dealing with complex internal issues across German-speaking Europe. The firm focuses on hard-to-see problems that can slow growth, including unclear decision-making, weak performance, and delayed market expansion.
As a Junior Data Analyst, you will work alongside the consulting team by converting raw organizational information into concise written insights. The role is part of an active engagement with a major German infrastructure organization, where the team is examining operational bottlenecks and supporting governance redesign. Your analysis will help ensure leadership advice is grounded in verified data rather than assumptions or broad industry patterns. This is a fully remote position, designed for focused analysis without a traditional office setting.
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will help the consulting team produce accurate, evidence-led deliverables for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Gather, organize, and clean datasets connected to organizational structures and employee performance for the infrastructure client.
- Carry out straightforward statistical review to spot trends, irregularities, and data patterns in client information.
- Keep internal dashboards current so restructuring progress and structural changes can be tracked effectively.
- Examine client documents and pull out relevant data points for audits and reporting work.
- Work with consultants to prepare the data-backed sections of formal client reports.
- Update internal databases carefully so that consulting outputs remain dependable and precise.
- Look for practical ways to make data collection simpler across the remote team.
- Create charts and visual summaries that make complex organizational topics easier for executive boards to understand.
What you need
The ideal candidate combines analytical aptitude with strong communication and a disciplined approach to remote work.
- Academic training in statistics, economics, business administration, or another closely related analytical discipline.
- Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, along with a willingness to build more advanced skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in spreadsheets, reports, and other deliverables.
- The ability to write clearly and explain data findings in simple, direct language.
- Interest in how large organizations operate and what drives their structure and performance.
- Comfort working independently in a fully remote setup while staying organized and meeting deadlines.
- Curiosity about complex business systems and organizational accountability.
- Openness to receiving careful feedback and applying it to improve data quality and logical consistency.
Working style
The team operates entirely remotely and relies heavily on written documentation rather than frequent meetings. This approach is intended to support deeper concentration and more considered analysis of client challenges. Everyone is expected to uphold a strong culture of accountability and precision, and communication is formal, direct, and focused on shared goals.
What we offer
This position offers a permanent, full-time arrangement with a paid salary positioned competitively for entry-level talent. You will work fully remotely, giving you space for focused work and strong individual productivity. The role also provides direct exposure to high-level consulting work and complex infrastructure projects, along with structured guidance from experienced consultants who value rigor, honesty, and clear thinking. In addition, you will receive the tools and software needed to perform your analysis effectively from a remote environment.
Impact of the role
Your work will form the foundation of the structural recommendations the team delivers to leadership facing difficult operational challenges. By identifying meaningful patterns in client data, you will help address problems that are often overlooked. Your contribution will support the German infrastructure partner in building a clearer, evidence-led path toward stronger performance and long-term organizational stability.
