Logistics Supervisor

About the Role

Winthrop Technologies is a specialist partner for data centre delivery in Europe, providing end-to-end solutions from early design all the way through construction and commissioning. With its headquarters in Dublin, the company delivers major projects across Europe and is now seeking a Logistics Supervisor for a large data centre project in Dublin.

This position focuses on keeping material movements to and from site organised, safe, and running without disruption.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the site compound and storage zones.
• Work with subcontractors to make sure materials are delivered to and removed from site safely and on time.
• Ensure all deliveries are processed through the approved site system and procedures.
• Direct and monitor site traffic to reduce congestion and avoid safety hazards.
• Apply site access rules and ensure all loading and unloading takes place only in designated areas.
• Assist the Logistics Manager with delivery planning, scheduling, logs, and records for materials.
• Take part in logistics coordination meetings and pass important updates to operatives and subcontractors.
• Lead a team of logistics operatives while making sure Health & Safety standards and safe working methods are followed.
• Escalate problems involving deliveries, storage, or traffic control quickly and help implement practical solutions.
• Keep labour tracking records accurate and support daily reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Previous logistics experience on a large-scale construction project.
• Strong planning and coordination skills, with the ability to manage several deliveries and subcontractors each day.
• A solid understanding of large construction sites and site Health & Safety requirements.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving environment and under pressure.
• Additional AP Crane and Temp Works qualifications are an advantage.
