Maintenance Person (General Labourer)

The role

Bream Bay in Ruakākā is seeking a casual Maintenance Person to support the site with a wide range of general maintenance tasks.

What the job involves

• Using a broad, hands-on skill set to carry out maintenance work across the property.
• Working in a varied role where each day can bring different tasks.
• Coordinating with outside contractors, internal staff, and residents.

What you need to bring

• Prior experience in a trade or maintenance-related role.
• Working knowledge of Building Code standards and compliance obligations.
• Solid awareness of health and safety practices.
• A dependable, self-driven work style.
• A warm and approachable manner for interacting with residents, visitors, staff, and contractors.
• Strong planning and time-management ability.
• Good physical fitness.
• A current clean New Zealand driver licence.
• Permission to work in New Zealand.
