About the Company
Infobase helps organizations make better-informed choices by providing trusted resources that support information literacy. For many years, schools, libraries, and institutions have relied on its platforms and content to help learners build lasting skills for success beyond the classroom. The company is expanding the team that develops and supports these offerings.
Role Overview
The Marketing Coordinator is an important hands-on position on a lean marketing team that moves quickly. The role supports campaign planning, execution, and performance measurement to help grow brand visibility, customer engagement, and business results. It is well suited to someone who enjoys the operational and analytical side of marketing, including scheduling, building, and reviewing campaigns, while also being comfortable contributing to copy and creative work when needed. The position offers exposure to digital, email, social, and content marketing, along with direct access to senior leadership and strategic guidance. A strong connection to Infobase’s mission of supporting learners with reliable information is essential.
What You'll Do
- Plan, coordinate, and carry out integrated marketing initiatives across digital, email, social media, website, events, and related channels.
- Create, test, and launch email campaigns using approved templates and brand guidelines.
- Use CRM data, customer lists, and AI-supported segmentation tools to target audiences accurately.
- Prepare and schedule social media content with a management platform, including graphics built from existing templates.
- Update website content when needed.
- Organize timelines, project plans, and deliverables so campaigns are completed on schedule.
- Monitor email and social performance, gather metrics, and share regular reports highlighting trends and results.
- Turn campaign data into practical recommendations for improvement and future planning.
- Suggest new campaign ideas based on past results, company priorities, and sales targets.
- Assist with marketing materials such as presentations, case studies, promotional items, and other collateral.
- Keep marketing assets organized and ensure brand consistency across customer-facing content.
- Work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and freelancers when necessary.
- Help track budgets, process invoices, and maintain project records.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned.
What We're Looking For
You should have a solid foundation in marketing concepts, campaign execution, digital channels, and brand management. This role also requires comfort with data, including pulling reports, understanding metrics, and explaining findings clearly. Strong organization and attention to detail are important because the work involves recurring processes and several tasks at once. Written communication matters as well, since the role includes copywriting and editing support. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and exposure to marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and content management tools is preferred. A willingness to learn quickly and grow into new skills is essential, along with genuine enthusiasm for Infobase’s mission.
Minimum Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Public Relations, or a similar discipline, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or a related field.
- Shown interest in or experience with email marketing, social media management, and campaign reporting.
- Prior use of marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and content management platforms is preferred.
- Strong interest in Infobase’s mission and the educational information space.
Benefits
This is a full-time role with a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, a 401(k), and generous paid time off.
Equal Opportunity
Infobase is an equal opportunity employer. Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.
