Overview
This contract role is centered on creating engaging motion graphic video blogs for an AI-native platform focused on facilities management. The content will be short-form, social-first, and designed in a style inspired by Cleo Abram’s YouTube videos. You will take ownership of the animation and motion design process from early ideas through to final file delivery, with the goal of turning complex topics into clear, polished, and visually compelling stories.
What you will do
- Plan and produce motion graphic video blogs that run approximately 4–5 minutes and are tailored for social media distribution.
- Contribute to brainstorming, scripting, and storyboard development so the content is easy to follow and engaging.
- Create animations that match the reference aesthetic and align with brand direction.
- Handle the complete production cycle, including design, animation, editing, and final delivery.
- Review and apply feedback promptly to improve the finished videos.
- Deliver all outputs on schedule while maintaining a high standard of quality.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in motion graphics and animation, supported by a portfolio that includes comparable explainer or video blog work.
- Strong working knowledge of standard tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Illustrator.
- Ability to simplify technical or complex subject matter into engaging visual stories.
- Well-developed skills in storytelling, visual design, and communication.
- Prior experience creating content for social media audiences.
- Comfort working independently and juggling several assignments at once.
- Willingness to take on part-time, contract-based work.
- Sharp attention to detail and the ability to perform well under tight deadlines.
