About the Opportunity
The company is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee facility management and project operations in Jeddah. The position plays a key role in ensuring client commitments are delivered successfully through effective planning, vendor coordination, resource allocation, and team supervision. A strong engineering approach, practical problem-solving, and experience with large-scale operations are important for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from start to finish across several parallel workstreams.
- Develop manpower plans and deploy teams efficiently so the right resources are placed where needed.
- Oversee accommodation, transport, and field logistics to keep day-to-day operations organized and employee-friendly.
- Establish and manage vendor partnerships, while creating procurement approaches that balance cost control and quality standards.
- Track operational performance indicators, spot gaps, and introduce corrective actions before issues escalate.
- Work closely with senior management and client representatives to keep timelines, budgets, and quality expectations aligned.
- Promote a strong safety culture, regulatory compliance, and ongoing process improvement across all operational activities.
Candidate Profile
- A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field is required.
- 6 to 10 years of progressive experience in operations, facility management, or supply chain functions is expected.
- Hands-on experience leading large teams and managing multiple sites or projects is important.
- Strong capability in manpower planning, procurement, vendor coordination, and logistics is needed.
- Exposure to warehouse operations, cluster-level management, or quality assurance in busy environments will be an added advantage.
- Certification in Supply Chain or Operations Management, such as CSCF or an equivalent credential, is preferred.
- The right candidate should be analytical, well organized, process-focused, and comfortable handling complex responsibilities while staying results-oriented.
- Candidates currently based in Jeddah or willing to relocate there are preferred.
