About the role
ASB focuses on delivering meaningful outcomes for customers, communities, and colleagues. Within the Risk division, the work supports informed, future-oriented decisions across the organisation.
This opportunity is for an experienced Personal Assistant to partner with two General Managers covering Enterprise & Operational Risk, Technology Risk, and Programme Oversight. It is a high-responsibility position in which you will act as a trusted support to senior leaders.
What you will do
- Keep complex calendars, email inboxes, and daily priorities organised and on track.
- Serve as a central contact point for both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Arrange travel, meeting logistics, and other coordination needs.
- Create presentations, written materials, and supporting documents.
- Assist with team engagement initiatives and events.
- Record meeting notes and monitor follow-up actions.
- Spot potential issues early and put forward practical solutions.
You will need to work independently, exercise judgement within agreed boundaries, and balance multiple demands in a busy environment.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a senior Personal Assistant or in executive support.
- Excellent planning, organisation, and time management abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Careful attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Confidence in dealing with people at all levels of seniority.
- Strong capability with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to prioritise well and work without close supervision.
- Good judgement and discretion when handling confidential information.
