Role overview

This opportunity is for an Infosys consulting professional based in Hyderabad. The position centers on Power BI administration and on contributing to client engagements across different phases of solution delivery, from defining the problem to designing, building, and deploying the final solution.

Core responsibilities

• Support consulting assignments by helping deliver practical, high-value solutions for client challenges.
• Review consultant-prepared proposals, guide the team, and assess solution approaches for possible risks or gaps.
• Work with clients to understand change management needs and recommend a structured approach using suitable communication methods.
• Coach team members, share subject matter knowledge, and help build team direction through timely feedback and recognition.
• Contribute to unit-level and organization-wide initiatives while following internal guidelines and process standards.

Required knowledge and capabilities

• Hands-on understanding of Power Platform and Power BI within cloud-based environments.
• Comfort with software configuration management systems.
• Strong commercial awareness, strategic thinking, and cross-industry perspective.
• Familiarity with current technologies and industry developments.
• Clear logical reasoning, problem-solving ability, and collaborative working style.
• Knowledge of at least two or three industry domains.
• Understanding of financial processes across project types and pricing models.
• Client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of SDLC and agile delivery methods.
• Capability in project management and team management.
