About the Role

HealthEquity’s purpose is to help save and improve lives by enabling healthcare consumers. This Project Manager role is responsible for steering projects from kickoff through completion, using independent judgment to handle moderate to high complexity work. The position may own one or more internal or external projects and is expected to keep all project phases aligned through clear communication and disciplined execution.

What You’ll Do

  • Define project goals and delivery requirements from start to finish for moderately complex work, coordinating with internal and external partners to establish scope, timeline, and resource needs.
  • Create, maintain, and refresh project schedules, plans, agendas, and system setups, including task sequencing, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and time estimates.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs, communicate clearly, and secure the right people and resources for successful delivery.
  • Coordinate resources across departments, external providers, and materials committed to the project, including collaboration with functional managers to form project teams when needed.
  • Keep team members informed throughout the project, track progress and work completed, monitor results against the plan, and address deviations or scope changes when necessary.
  • Act as a knowledgeable resource for others by sharing project guidance and helping teammates handle project-related challenges.
  • Serve as the main contact for stakeholders, provide regular status updates, answer questions, facilitate meetings, and prepare leadership reports covering progress, issues, and spending.

Requirements

Salary

Onboarding & Travel

This is a remote role, but onboarding includes an in-person training component. New hires must take part in Trailhead, HealthEquity’s immersive onboarding experience, which is designed to build connections, support integration, and provide a strong understanding of the business.
