Role Overview
Windward Management Limited is hiring a Receptionist for the Radisson Blu Hotel in Letterkenny, County Donegal. The role is based at the hotel on Paddy Harte Road and is part of a welcoming front-office team in a busy four-star hospitality setting.
About the Hotel
Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny is a premium four-star property close to the centre of Letterkenny. The hotel offers modern accommodation, a 17m swimming pool, a fully equipped health club, and extensive conference and event spaces. Guests also enjoy dining at TriBeCa Restaurant and drinks in Poets’ Corner Bar, all supported by a service style focused on comfort and Irish hospitality.
Key Duties
- Receive guests warmly and serve as the first contact point at the hotel.
- Check guests in, record their details, and process payments.
- Respond to guest questions about hotel facilities and local tourist information.
- Keep guest records and related documentation accurate, complete, and well maintained in the computer system.
- Handle bookings and confirm reservations for guests.
- Oversee the reception desk, including managing a large flow of phone calls and emails.
- Carry out other ad hoc administrative duties when required.
Candidate Profile
The ideal applicant brings strong customer service skills, excellent communication, and the ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a similar position is helpful but not essential. You should be confident using your own initiative, attentive to detail, comfortable working under pressure, and flexible enough to support business needs. Evening and weekend availability is required.
