Role Overview

Soccer90, in partnership with FC Dallas, is hiring a Retail Manager to oversee a multi-store retail and eCommerce soccer business with annual volume of more than $2M. This is a full-time, onsite leadership position for someone who combines strategic thinking with strong day-to-day execution. The right candidate should bring solid retail management experience, a love for soccer, and a strong background in inventory control, merchandising, team leadership, and business analysis. The role focuses on improving store and digital performance, strengthening customer experience, and keeping operations running efficiently across all channels.

Key Duties

  • Direct the daily running of retail locations and keep the selling environment clean, orderly, and customer friendly.
  • Track sales results, performance indicators, and retail trends to guide business decisions.
  • Create and implement plans to improve profitability, control expenses, and keep store operations efficient.
  • Handle inventory forecasting, purchasing, replenishment, and shrink management.
  • Apply visual merchandising standards to showcase featured items, product groups, and seasonal collections.
  • Hire, train, coach, and supervise store associates while giving ongoing feedback and support.
  • Promote a service-focused culture that consistently delivers strong customer experiences.
  • Work with the marketing team on in-store and online promotions, special events, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Review and interpret weekly and monthly reports covering sales, stock turnover, margins, and labor costs.
  • Spot new product opportunities by studying market behavior and customer preferences.

  • Help build a positive, inclusive workplace that attracts and keeps strong performers.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by senior leadership.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related area is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of retail leadership experience, including managing 3 to 5 direct reports.
  • Strong ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.
  • Comfort with retail analytics, budgeting, forecasting, and retail math.
  • Experience using eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, along with Google Ads and Google Merchant.
  • Capability in visual merchandising and maintaining high store presentation standards.
  • Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Well organized, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems effectively.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and events.
  • Experience with Lightspeed Retail-X POS and NetSuite is considered an advantage.

Requirements
