Role Overview
The Sales Assistant role is suited to someone who puts customers first and enjoys delivering a welcoming, enjoyable shopping experience. The position is ideal for a person who thrives in a busy, sales-focused environment and appreciates working in a team that values internal growth and development.
Key Duties
- Deliver friendly, high-quality service and create strong customer connections.
- Handle cash and EFTPOS transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Build and maintain strong product knowledge across the store’s full range.
- Support store presentation, merchandising, and overall visual standards.
- Work toward sales budgets, targets, and KPI requirements.
- Assist with stock management and product quality control.
- Comply with national legislation, workplace health and safety rules, and security procedures.
Candidate Profile
The right person will be motivated by sales goals and able to perform well in a fast-moving retail setting. A warm, energetic, and approachable personality is important, along with a genuine commitment to excellent customer service.
Additional Requirement
A valid Police Check Report will be required if the candidate progresses successfully through the interview stage.
