Supported by strong growth, strategic funding, and major expansion goals, the company is strengthening the people, systems, and leadership needed to grow nationwide.
To support this next phase of growth, CardsHQ is looking for a Senior Contract Recruiter who can help drive hiring across important corporate, operational, and leadership roles.
Role overview
This is a 3 to 4 month contract role for a recruiter who can act as a strategic partner across the full hiring cycle. The position involves working closely with leaders and hiring managers to identify talent needs, source and evaluate candidates, and help close strong hires while maintaining an excellent candidate journey.
The ideal person is comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial setting, can juggle several active searches at once, and contributes to both hiring decisions and broader recruiting strategy.
Key responsibilities
- Run end-to-end recruitment, starting with intake conversations and continuing through offer acceptance and coordination of onboarding.
- Work with executives, department heads, and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and create hiring plans aligned with business goals.
- Support recruiting for corporate, professional, and all-level roles across functions such as finance, technology, marketing, retail operations, store operations, merchandising and buying, inventory planning, supply chain and logistics, human resources, and other corporate support areas.
- Hold intake discussions to define the target candidate profile, core competencies, and selection criteria for each role.
- Create and apply sourcing approaches that build strong talent pipelines for immediate and future hiring needs.
- Review applicants, conduct interviews, and assess fit against job requirements and company culture.
- Share market data, compensation guidance, and hiring recommendations with leadership.
- Coordinate interviews, candidate updates, feedback gathering, and offer steps.
- Keep candidate information and recruiting activities current and accurate in the applicant tracking system.
- Deliver a responsive, high-touch candidate experience throughout the process.
- Assist with employer branding efforts and improvements to recruiting processes.
- Monitor recruiting metrics and provide hiring progress updates to leadership on a regular basis.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience handling full-cycle corporate recruiting.
- Background recruiting professional, corporate, and leadership roles across several business functions.
- Strong sourcing capability using LinkedIn Recruiter and other direct sourcing tools.
- Proven ability to work with senior leaders and shape hiring decisions.
- Experience managing multiple open roles at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong skills in interviewing, candidate assessment, and overall evaluation.
- Excellent communication, organization, and relationship-building strengths.
- Ability to work independently while balancing competing priorities.
- Comfort using applicant tracking systems and recruiting technology.
Preferred background
- Experience recruiting in retail, ecommerce, consumer products, technology, media, logistics, or similarly fast-growing organizations.
- Prior involvement in leadership or executive recruiting.
- Experience working in a rapidly scaling entrepreneurial environment.
- Understanding of compensation benchmarking and labor market trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
