Role Overview
The Pasha Group is hiring a senior operations leader to guide the evolution of a scalable, cost-conscious shared services function that supports international logistics activities. This position focuses on improving service outcomes, increasing efficiency, and embedding AI-enabled tools and automation into everyday work.
The successful candidate will work across Finance, Operations, and executive leadership to turn enterprise priorities into practical improvements in cost, capacity, productivity, service quality, and customer experience.
Cost Optimization and Financial Stewardship
- Develop, refine, and implement long-range cost reduction plans across multiple shared services sites.
- Find structural efficiency opportunities in staffing, vendors, processes, and automation to lower cost-to-serve and improve enterprise value.
- Work with Finance to track ROI, improve budget visibility, strengthen financial transparency, and hold transformation efforts accountable.
- Review performance against plan, investigate variances, identify root causes, and introduce corrective actions that support operating and financial targets.
- Connect demand trends, service mix, volume patterns, and other operational drivers to budgeting, forecasting, chargeback arrangements, and performance management.
Service Delivery and Operational Excellence
- Build a flexible shared services model that can adapt to changing business needs while maintaining a strong customer experience.
- Assess and continuously improve multi-channel service approaches, including digital, self-service, and high-touch support.
- Create scalable staffing and capacity plans that match resources and skills with demand across locations.
- Separate transactional work from higher-touch activities to improve productivity, turnaround speed, and consistency.
- Track and strengthen performance in demanding and high-risk service areas such as call centers and peak-support operations.
- Implement KPI frameworks focused on savings, SLA performance, productivity, throughput, first-pass accuracy, and resolution speed.
AI, Automation, and Digital Transformation
- Convert technology strategy into tangible operational and financial outcomes.
- Drive adoption of AI tools, automation, and digital capabilities through governance, playbooks, training, and change management.
- Use analytics and operational insights to make better decisions across cost, capacity, and customer experience.
- Identify and prioritize automation opportunities that reduce manual work, raise consistency, and improve speed and accuracy.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and disciplined execution across shared services operations.
Leadership and Cross-Functional Partnership
- Lead distributed teams with a strong focus on structure, capability building, teamwork, and accountability.
- Set a consistent operating rhythm, clear ownership, and measurable performance expectations across sites.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and senior leaders to align priorities and deliver enterprise-level results.
- Develop emerging leaders and support a high-performance culture that encourages growth and sustained operational excellence.
What the Role Requires
Candidates should bring strategic operations leadership, financial judgment, and a deep understanding of international logistics service delivery. The role also involves regular use of office systems and communication tools, along with independent travel to U.S. locations, including Hawaii. Travel may be up to 20%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive leadership experience in international logistics shared services or multi-function operations management.
- Proven success leading large transformation programs, including cost optimization and operating model redesign.
- Experience building and managing flexible, multi-channel service delivery models in global operations.
- Strong background in shared services operating models, process improvement, and service transformation.
- Working knowledge of multi-modal freight operations.
- Ability to use TMS, shipment visibility tools, EDI integrations, and related operational systems.
- Knowledge of customs procedures, trade documentation, and letters of credit.
- Strong financial analysis skills and evidence-based decision-making ability.
- Experience leading large, distributed teams with high standards of accountability.
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with military or government contracts, agreements, and performance metrics is strongly preferred.

Work Environment and Travel
