Solution Architecture Manager

Role Overview

The Solution Architecture Manager will oversee the full lifecycle of solution development, ensuring architectural blueprints are aligned with business needs and support the bank’s system improvement goals.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead the design and rollout of architecture blueprints while securing stakeholder buy-in and adherence to standards across multiple technology areas.
• Create, present, and promote end-to-end architecture roadmaps that shape the future direction of platforms, products, infrastructure, and services.
• Act as a domain expert by working closely with architects across functions, reviewing initiatives critically, and helping steer technology decisions.
• Support delivery leaders and implementation partners in building solution architecture and stay involved through go-live to confirm business expectations are met.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams to ensure technical environments align with the target architecture and adjust architecture when infrastructure needs change.
• Provide governance throughout the project lifecycle, including early-stage planning, and verify that architecture outputs are complete and of high quality.
• Partner with business development teams and stakeholders to shape solution proposals and evaluate architecture options for recommendation.
• Coach team members on best practices and communicate organization-wide technical considerations clearly, both internally and externally.
• Prepare technical requirements for RFIs and RFPs, then help assess vendor proposals to select suitable technology and application partners.
• Review, approve, and ensure timely publication of reports and statements in line with operational needs, policies, and standards.
• Supervise team activities to ensure efficient execution and compliance with internal procedures and governance requirements.

Requirements

• Saudi nationality is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline is required.
• Advanced professional certifications are considered an advantage.
• At least 5 to 8 years of experience in IT architecture or a related area is required.
• At least 3 years of that experience should be in a managerial or leadership capacity.
• Strong understanding of banking IT architecture and banking operations is necessary.
• Experience converting business requirements into IT systems and operational solutions is expected.
• Good communication ability is needed.
• Strong negotiation skills are important for this role.
• Excellent planning and organization capabilities are required.
• Location: Jeddah.
