Role Overview

This entry-level store crew position is designed for candidates who need schedule flexibility. The job involves day-to-day store operations such as handling cash, processing fuel payments, cleaning, and keeping shelves stocked. In some locations, foodservice duties may also include preparing food and following food safety standards. The role also offers the chance to work closely with teammates and interact with customers in a lively retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Process customer purchases, manage cash transactions, and handle fuel-related payments accurately.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and ready for customers at all times.
• Stock products and help maintain merchandise availability on the sales floor.
• Prepare food items and follow foodservice safety practices when assigned to foodservice duties.
• Deliver friendly customer service and aim to meet or exceed customer expectations on every visit.
• Support the rewards and loyalty program by encouraging customer participation.
• Follow health-code requirements and store operating procedures.
• Perform regular physical tasks such as bending, standing, reaching, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
• Previous experience in cashiering, customer service, retail, or foodservice is helpful but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once.
• Commitment to cleanliness, safety, and proper food handling standards.
• Comfort with repeated physical activity, including standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
