About the Role
This position is for a Store Manager in South Lethbridge, Alberta. The role is centered on leading a Starbucks store by running day-to-day operations, supporting financial performance, developing people, and creating a welcoming community space. The manager is expected to lead with purpose, take initiative, and encourage positive outcomes for both customers and team members.
The position goes beyond service delivery and beverage preparation. It focuses on building meaningful customer connections, guiding a team, and using retail leadership experience to run the store independently while following established brand and business practices.
What You Will Do
You will be responsible for helping grow a high-performing business, developing team members, and representing the brand in the community.
- Oversee store operations and help drive sales through strong business judgment, efficiency, and practical problem-solving.
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members so they can perform at their best both individually and as a group.
- Act as a brand representative and support strong results through the efforts of your team.
- Build connections with the local community and contribute to positive experiences for customers, partners, and the wider community.
Experience and Qualifications
Candidates should bring retail or customer service management experience, along with strong leadership and organizational abilities.
- At least 3 years of experience in retail or customer service management.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in a sales-driven environment.
- Ability to lead, coach, and mentor team members with professionalism and maturity.
- Minimum education level of High School diploma or GED.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time, on-site role. The schedule may include variable hours, such as early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The job regularly requires more than 40 hours per week.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected hiring range for this role is CAD 61,000 to CAD 80,875 per year. Final pay may vary depending on market location, experience, skills, and internal equity. Eligible employees may also participate in a bonus program and annual bean stock grants.
