Gino's Gelato is hiring a Store Manager for its Killarney location. The business is a fast-growing nationwide gelato brand, and this position is aimed at someone who is customer-oriented, confident in retail leadership, and comfortable working in a busy store environment.

The successful applicant will oversee operations across both stores with support from an Assistant Manager. The role suits an experienced food retail manager who enjoys dealing with customers, leading a team, and maintaining high standards across day-to-day store performance.

This opportunity includes a competitive pay package, with performance-related bonus potential of up to an additional €12,000 per year based on on-target earnings. The company also offers a supportive team culture and a positive working environment.

Applicants should be locally based if possible and must be available for a fully flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays, and weekends.

Key duties

• Take responsibility for the overall performance and smooth operation of the stores.
• Deliver agreed store targets across sales, stock control, wage management, rostering, mystery shopper results, training, and customer service.
• Promote and protect a consistently strong customer service culture.
• Organise workloads effectively, set priorities, and delegate tasks where needed.
• Handle recruitment, staff scheduling, and performance management for the team.
• Encourage ongoing improvement and development within the team.
• Maintain high standards in cleanliness, presentation, merchandising, and health and safety compliance.
• Ensure products are displayed and merchandised effectively.

Candidate requirements

• Previous experience managing a retail store, preferably in food retail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and stay effective under pressure.

Compensation and benefits

• Base salary between €33,500 and €36,400 per year, depending on experience.
• Monthly KPI bonus payments that can add up to €12,000 per year.
