Strategy Analyst - Finance

Role overview

This is a newly created finance strategy position within a long-established, founder-led property group with a strong national investment and operating track record. The role is centered on helping drive strategic execution for a fast-growing hospitality business that has expanded significantly in recent years.

What you will do

You will be part of an internal strategy execution function, contributing to a wide range of business improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening operational and commercial performance. The position also involves helping shape future business strategy and planning.

Core work will include analysing data, building financial models for business cases such as pricing and tenders, supporting capital expenditure and valuation analysis, completing market research, and contributing to evidence-based decision-making. You will also help develop project management tools such as budgets and KPI reports to monitor progress and performance.

Ideal candidate profile

The employer is looking for someone with a strong academic background and tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Finance, Economics, or Engineering. Candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience are encouraged to apply, especially those who have worked in analysis, financial modelling, data modelling, dashboard development, business cases, or project management.

This opportunity is considered particularly suitable for professionals coming from Big 4 firms, management consulting, advisory, or corporate finance backgrounds.

Compensation and opportunity

The package on offer is $115,000 to $130,000 plus superannuation and bonus. This role is positioned as a strong entry point into strategy execution and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a boutique but stable business with strong growth prospects and excellent development potential.
