Key duties

• Lead the Environmental Division and act as the principal staff advisor on environmental program needs.

• Oversee activities tied to environmental compliance, conservation, cleanup/restoration, and pollution prevention.
• Create plans that support higher-level environmental initiatives such as hazardous waste management, environmental quality awards, and trash separation or recycling efforts.
• Carry out on-site reviews of installation environmental programs.
• Deliver oral updates and briefings at installation level and above as needed.
• Take part in local and statewide environmental organizations to help strengthen installation environmental outcomes.

Employment conditions
