Ulta Beauty is looking for a Task Associate to support store operations and help create a polished, organized, and welcoming shopping environment. What the role involves

The Task Associate contributes to operational excellence by making sure sales-driving activities are supported through accurate task completion, stocked fixtures, and well-maintained store conditions. The role partners closely with the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager and centers on performance, teamwork, and process compliance.

• Help the store meet or exceed retail targets by completing assigned tasks on time and ensuring products are ready for customers.
• Support execution standards by working through the task dashboard and completing shipment, replenishment, merchandise setup, inventory counts, and related processes promptly.
• Keep attendance dependable and regular.
• Foster a welcoming environment for teammates, peers, and guests.
• Take part in ongoing learning, including education on brands and product categories, to strengthen skills and support sales.
• Follow company policies, procedures, standards, and dress expectations.
• Carry out merchandising resets, planograms, marketing displays, inventory procedures, and shipment processing using company technology and approved methods.
• Maintain replenished, signed, and front-faced work areas, and make sure testers are available.
• Keep the sales floor, restrooms, cashwrap, backroom, and break area clean and presentable.
• Protect company assets by using loss-prevention best practices and delivering excellent guest service.
• Complete additional operational duties as assigned.

Qualifications and requirements

This position prefers a high school diploma and at least 1 year of relevant work experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience. Candidates should be comfortable using basic technology, including point-of-sale systems and Apple devices, and be able to work both independently and collaboratively. Strong problem-solving ability is also important.

Schedule and working conditions

The job requires flexibility to work early mornings, daytime shifts, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays. Daily work involves continuous movement around the store, frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting, as well as regular lifting, carrying, or moving of items up to 25 lbs. The role also calls for ongoing coordination and handling of objects throughout the shift.

Pay and benefits

The hourly pay range for this position is $16.90 to $24.00, with exact compensation based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, shift, location, and business needs. Eligible associates may also receive overtime pay where required by law. Full-time associates may qualify for paid time off along with health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage. Part-time associates may qualify for dental, vision, life, and disability coverage.
