Tendering Specialist

Role Overview

An infrastructure-focused road construction company in Bhavnagar is looking to hire a Tender Specialist with a civil engineering background. The position centers on managing the full bidding process for government and private works, with a strong emphasis on compliance, documentation, and tender submission accuracy.

Location

Bhavnagar HQ, Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India.

Core Work

The role involves independently handling the complete e-tendering cycle for major public authorities, reviewing tender documents in detail, preparing required technical and commercial submissions, and maintaining high-quality bid records.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full e-tendering process from review to submission for authorities such as NHAI, MoRTH, PWD, and R&B.
• Examine tender documents carefully and carry out technical assessment before preparing the bid.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation for tender participation and submission.
• Prepare Change of Scope (COS) proposals whenever required.
• Compile Excess/Saving statements as part of project and bid documentation.
• Draft Joint Venture (JV) agreements and agreements for private contract assignments.

Requirements

• Civil engineering qualification is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in studying, preparing, and submitting government infrastructure tenders.
• Practical knowledge of bid lifecycle management and tender documentation.
• Ability to handle work for both government and private contract processes.
