Role Summary
This role is based in New York City and follows a hybrid schedule, requiring at least three days onsite each week. The company does not provide U.S. work permit or employment visa sponsorship.
The Trade Support Analyst will join the Equity team and help run day-to-day trading desk operations. This position is suited to someone with strong trade support or middle office experience who can serve as the main point of contact for booking, settlement, and trade lifecycle matters on behalf of the front office.
What You Will Do
- Input and update trades in front-office platforms, including tickets related to performance and financing, through the settlement stage.
- Oversee corporate actions, expirations, and other trade lifecycle events as they arise.
- Investigate trade breaks and profit-and-loss variances, partnering with Market Risk and teams in other regions to resolve them.
- Act as the first contact for traders and sales teams when operational issues arise during the trading day.
- Monitor key metrics and help maintain accurate, current team procedures.
Required Background
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in Trade Support, a Trader Assistant role, or an equivalent position is preferred.
- Exposure to Equity Derivatives products and payoffs is expected.
- Working knowledge of Medium Term Notes (MTNs) is needed.
- Comfort using industry trading systems and tools such as Sophis, Summit, MarketWire, and Bloomberg is important.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year.
