About Asepha

Asepha develops sophisticated AI software that changes how medications are prescribed, verified, and supported throughout the pharmacy journey. With $4M in funding and the confidence of multiple Fortune 50 healthcare organizations, the company is expanding quickly and needs a UX Designer who has experience shaping AI-driven product experiences. This role will directly influence how clinicians, pharmacists, and patients use the platform.

Mission

The team is working toward a future where medication delays do not happen. Once a prescription is created, the route to treatment should be transparent, fast, and dependable. Asepha serves as the context graph for the therapy-start journey, connecting the many disconnected steps that slow medication access, including intake, coordination, utilization management, and clinical services.

What you will do

  • Lead the full design process from early research and journey mapping to wireframes, prototypes, and detailed mockups ready for engineering handoff.
  • Create user-friendly interfaces for AI-first experiences, including agent-based task flows, human review steps, and live status updates that make automation easy to understand and trust.
  • Run user research with pharmacists, clinicians, and operations teams, then turn those insights into practical design choices.
  • Develop and maintain a design system that supports consistency as the product grows across different user groups and workflow types.
  • Work closely with engineering, product, and pharmacy stakeholders to translate complex clinical challenges into clear, buildable product experiences.
  • Assist sales and customer success teams by creating demo setups, presentation assets, and small interface improvements that reflect the product direction.

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in product or UX design, with a portfolio that shows work on shipped AI-powered products.
  • A portfolio that reflects solid UX/UI fundamentals and real-world product work.
  • Strong background designing for AI systems, including how to show model confidence, manage errors well, and keep people in control where needed.
  • Experience collaborating directly with engineers and delivering designs into production.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS, along with comfort handling design-to-development handoff.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and adjust quickly when priorities change.

Preferred experience

  • Background in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or other regulated environments.
  • Exposure to LLM-based interfaces, chat-style UX, or structured data visualizations.
  • Front-end development experience is a plus.
  • Manhattan-based candidates are preferred, though remote applicants will be considered for the right fit.

Compensation and benefits

  • Competitive pay package with an annual salary of $120,000 to $170,000 plus stock options.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and extended health coverage.
  • Unlimited time off, plus a two-week company-wide office closure during the holidays.
  • Two team off-site trips each year.
  • Daily breakfast and lunch in the office, with dinner provided if you stay past 7pm.

Additional information

Only candidates chosen for an interview will be contacted.
