Role Overview
This contract opportunity is for a Video Editor who will help evaluate and improve animation and visual-effects outputs used to train AI systems focused on storytelling, robotics, and educational media. The position is fully remote and centered on reviewing content quality, organizing media assets, and supporting iterative model improvement through expert feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine animation and visual-effects outputs, then refine them to support AI training in storytelling, robotics, and learning-focused content.
- Keep project folders, labels, and media assets well structured so dataset building, annotation work, and team collaboration stay efficient.
- Review AI-produced material, incorporate stakeholder input, and make sure the output meets quality benchmarks, factual correctness, and project goals.
- Create evaluation rubrics, review frameworks, and curated media collections for training and benchmarking AI systems that work with video, animation, and instructional content.
- Use your subject-matter knowledge to strengthen model performance by spotting gaps, unusual cases, and ways to improve visual and narrative generation.
- Work with cross-functional remote teams and share clear written and spoken feedback to help guide ongoing AI model iterations.
Candidate Profile
- Strong hands-on background in video editing and post-production, including audio work and visual storytelling.
- Experience handling animation and visual effects for digital media or educational content.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational ability, and comfort managing several deadlines at once.
- Ability to accept feedback and apply it constructively.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline is required, along with substantial experience in video or visual media production.
- Prior success working in remote, team-based environments.
Preferred Background
- Exposure to robotics media, AI training data, or educational content production.
- Familiarity with video engineering or with building media standards and evaluation rubrics.
- Awareness of current developments in AI, video technology, and digital storytelling.
Compensation
Pay is set between $40 and $80 per hour.
