Role Overview

This full-time Warehouse Lead role is based in St. John's, Newfoundland and reports to the Warehouse Supervisor. The position involves hands-on warehouse work along with leading shift activities, supporting shipping and receiving, inventory control, product handling, cleaning, and other tasks aligned with company standards and safety goals.

Key Duties

• Coordinate and carry out warehouse activities as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor, including shipping, receiving, inventory, and related tasks.
• Oversee shift-level execution of warehouse standard operating procedures and ensure staff follow them consistently.
• Prepare labour plans and schedules for inbound and outbound freight.
• Maintain a clean, orderly warehouse and make sure procedures and policies are followed.
• Follow standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices to support product quality.
• Move finished goods and equipment safely, either manually or with powered equipment.
• Use Maestro and SAP to keep inventory records accurate and up to date.
• Load and unload shipments, and organize or combine stock as needed.
• Help maintain a safe work environment at all times.
• Comply with health and safety rules, HACCP standards, and company policies.
• Escalate any quality, food safety, or health and safety incidents to the appropriate teams.

What You Should Bring

• Experience in material handling is considered an advantage.
• Forklift operator certification is preferred, or willingness to complete it.
• Comfort using computers in day-to-day work.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to stay self-driven, focused on results, and effective with limited supervision.
• A collaborative mindset and strong team spirit.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting wage for this role is $32.70 per hour.
