About the role
This position is for an aerospace engineer who can contribute to the training of AI systems. The work calls for strong expertise in aerospace engineering, and while a completed or ongoing Master’s or PhD is preferred, it is not mandatory.
Candidates from closely related disciplines such as Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Aeroscience may also be considered.
How you’ll work
This is an independent contractor opportunity. You can select the projects you want to take on and decide when you work. The role is designed to be performed from your own computer, giving you the flexibility to work on your own schedule.
Compensation
Pay starts at USD 40+ per hour, and some projects may include bonus rates. Payments are processed through PayPal, and currency conversion from USD will be handled by PayPal.
Responsibilities
- Create challenging and varied prompts for AI chatbots and assess the responses they generate.
- Review AI model output for accuracy and overall performance.
Qualifications
- Strong command of English at a native or bilingual level.
- A careful, detail-focused approach to work.
- Solid ability in physics and engineering, along with inductive and deductive reasoning.
- Good spatial, temporal, and physical reasoning skills.
- A current, ongoing, or completed Master’s and/or PhD is preferred, though not required.

Only candidates based in Australia will be considered. This is an independent contractor role. The employer will never request any payment from applicants.
