Role Overview

The Analyst will support investment activity across acquisitions, development, asset management, and market research. The position involves financial modeling, valuation work, due diligence, and ongoing analysis to help guide investment decisions in commercial real estate.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate potential acquisition and development opportunities through cash flow modeling, property valuation, investment analysis, and joint venture structuring.
  • Produce clear, accurate materials that support investment review and decision-making.
  • Help draft deal memoranda for review by the investment committee.
  • Research target markets using multiple data sources to strengthen underwriting assumptions and identify new opportunities.
  • Maintain proprietary market reports and update an internal database of sales and lease comparables for target markets each month.
  • Assist with due diligence and closing work for acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Handle information requests from the investment committee, brokers, lenders, buyers, and sellers.
  • Review due diligence documents such as leases, operating statements, title, and surveys, then summarize findings for senior leadership.
  • Support asset management efforts through ongoing coordination with investment committee, property management, leasing, and accounting teams.
  • Perform recurring analyses that inform decisions tied to the business plan, including leasing, capital projects, and financing.
  • Refresh valuations of existing assets on a quarterly basis to monitor investment performance.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience with a commercial real estate investment sales firm.
  • Strong working knowledge of Argus and Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, business, or a closely related discipline.
  • Excellent organization skills and the ability to manage several deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, including the skill to simplify complex information into concise takeaways.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate work with limited oversight.
  • Must pass a background screening.
