Role Overview
Palm Lake Resort Beachmere Sands is seeking a dependable Cleaner who takes pride in detail and presentation. The role is central to keeping shared spaces neat, organised, and pleasant for residents and visitors.
This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week, scheduled between 6:00am and 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Duties
- Maintain cleanliness across shared facilities including the pool room, office, hairdresser, gym, craft room, clubhouse, and library.
- Carry out dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and waste removal.
- Keep toilet areas hygienic and well presented.
- Clean internal glass and ensure appliances such as refrigerators and microwaves are spotless.
- Keep kitchen spaces tidy by emptying dishwashers and wiping down surfaces.
- Restock consumables such as tea, coffee, and similar items.
- Spot and remove hazards like wet floors or obstructions to support a safe environment.
- Clean stock homes and display homes for prospective buyers.
- Complete weekly cleaning tasks such as switches, power points, door frames, and cobweb removal.
- Perform additional cleaning work as requested by resort management.
What You Need
- A valid National Police Clearance.
- Strong attention to detail and a clear commitment to high cleaning standards.
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally in a commercial setting.
- The ability to work on your own and follow a cleaning routine efficiently.
- A positive, proactive approach to keeping the resort in excellent condition.
