Role Overview

Wella Company is looking for a Contract Recruiter to support hiring efforts in Calabasas, CA. This assignment is hybrid, with three days each week spent on site, and is expected to run for approximately three months. The hourly pay is $35.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage recruiting activities from initial sourcing through offer stage, using effective tools and proven hiring practices to identify strong candidates.
  • Support the hiring process so roles are filled efficiently while balancing speed, cost, and candidate quality.
  • Help create a smooth and positive candidate journey throughout the recruitment process.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics, review performance indicators, and share insights that can improve hiring results.
  • Act as a primary contact for hiring managers, applicants, and internal team members.
  • Oversee key details and follow-through across the recruitment cycle.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, or in a closely related field, with a preference for candidates who have recruited for Sales roles.
  • A bachelor’s degree is not mandatory, though a background in HR, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Excellent organization and flexibility to juggle multiple open roles and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities for working with candidates, hiring managers, and outside partners.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and dependable in moving work forward.
  • Comfort with metrics, attention to detail, and an analytical approach to improving recruiting outcomes.
  • Interest in the Beauty industry or prior experience in it is considered a plus.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week.
