Role Overview
This is a short-term, onsite coordination role based in Wellington, supporting Ministerial Services from July through September, with the possibility of an extension. The assignment offers practical exposure to senior-level administrative work and reporting in a values-driven environment.
Key Duties
- Record and track OIA requests, parliamentary questions, and ministerial correspondence.
- Monitor shared inboxes, sort incoming queries, and pass on items that need escalation.
- Prepare reports and keep team spreadsheets and Word documents current.
- Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including arranging staff system access and handling general office support.
Experience and Strengths Needed
- Background in administration, coordination, or team support.
- Careful, accurate approach to logging information and producing reports.
- Comfort working across several priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Clear and confident communication, both written and spoken.
- Positive, proactive, and service-oriented mindset.
