Role Overview
DREAMLABS is seeking a full-time Creative Strategist to drive the end-to-end development of paid social creative across social advertising channels. This remote position is focused on turning insights into high-performing concepts, owning the process from initial idea through final delivery. You will be responsible for writing scripts, sourcing and directing talent, editing content, and reviewing results to keep improving creative performance. The role also includes managing monthly UGC and remix deliverables for clients.
Work Arrangement
This is a remote role based in the United States. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. The position reports directly to the CEO.
Creative Strategy and Ideation
- Create performance-focused creative plans for paid social campaigns.
- Study top ad trends, hooks, and formats to guide concept development.
- Draft scripts and creative briefs that reflect campaign goals and audience insights.
- Work with media buyers to turn performance data into fresh concepts and creative variants.
- Gather content inspiration and organize reference boards to expand the content mix.
Production and Talent Direction
- Source, brief, and coordinate UGC creators and on-camera talent as needed.
- Direct shoots and give guidance on tone, pace, and visual storytelling.
- Keep a reliable flow of content ready for testing and publication.
- Lead and produce on-site shoots with talent.
- Brief, review, and manage deliverables from external designers, creators, and agencies.
Content Creation and Editing
- Edit UGC footage into polished, platform-ready videos.
- Test different hooks, captions, pacing, and visuals to improve engagement and conversions.
- Create original content featuring yourself when it supports campaign needs.
Performance Analysis and Optimization
- Review creative performance across paid and organic channels to spot what works best.
- Summarize findings and suggest improvements for future creative tests.
- Adapt creative direction using platform data, outside inspiration, consumer behavior, and brand objectives.
Systems and Collaboration
- Develop scalable creative systems such as content libraries, naming conventions, and workflow templates.
- Partner with paid media, account management, and design teams to keep execution efficient.
- Coordinate freelance editors or creators as the team grows.
- Publish strong agency content on social media once per quarter.
- Attend client meetings on a bi-weekly or monthly basis to stay aligned on account activity.
- Join Slack channels for selected clients when needed.
- Take on additional responsibilities as the organization requires support.
