Job summary
This role is focused on keeping flight operations compliant with company procedures and regulatory requirements while reducing avoidable delays that can affect on-time performance. The position also oversees the execution of published crew rosters so they remain aligned with budget expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Support strong on-time performance by introducing improved operational approaches.
- Examine and adjust published crew pairings and rosters to lift crew productivity against planned rosters.
- Work independently to complete routine duties and make practical day-to-day decisions.
- Coordinate and support audit preparation and execution activities.
- Monitor available crew standby capacity and keep it under review.
- Collaborate with other departments to strengthen cross-functional working relationships.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Review and update relevant manual sections, including OPM and OM-A chapters.
- Audit crew management system rule settings, application behavior, and report outputs, then share findings.
- Track delays and operational issues, and document corrective actions for departmental follow-up.
- Encourage and reinforce a strong safety culture.
- Develop and implement succession planning for team members.
- Model cooperation and actively promote teamwork across the unit.
- Join training related to productivity tools and operational strategy.
- Handle issues with professionalism and sound judgment.
- Carry out coaching and issue-resolution assessments for team members.
