- Write, validate, and improve SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures to support recurring reports and ad hoc business needs.
- Design reporting and data-capture tools that streamline work, improve operational visibility, and support better decisions.
- Review patterns, exceptions, and performance trends in data, then present clear insights to business leaders and project partners.
- Inspect reports, source information, and existing logic to uncover defects, correct data quality issues, and raise output accuracy.
- Record current business processes, workflows, and analytical findings, and suggest practical improvements based on what is uncovered.
- Carry out data validation and quality checks to confirm information is complete, accurate, and suitable for reporting.
- Develop a solid understanding of organizational procedures and day-to-day operations so analysis stays aligned with business priorities.
- Use structured problem-solving and critical thinking to contribute to fraud-related analysis, process improvements, and cross-functional work.

- Minimum of 3 years working in a data analyst, business analyst, or comparable analytical role.
- At least 2 years of direct experience creating SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, database structure, data mining techniques, and reporting best practices.
- Experience documenting business processes and converting technical findings into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences.
- Comfort using Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Management Studio, Power BI, and cloud or enterprise reporting platforms.
- Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and communicate large amounts of information with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills, plus the ability to work independently and build productive relationships across teams.
