Description de l'emploi

About the role

This position is for a practical, data-focused product owner who will lead EPAM Demand Analytics products from idea to release. The role centers on turning business needs into clear analytical solutions, working deeply with metric logic, and partnering closely with delivery and stakeholder teams to ensure the final product is both accurate and useful.

Project overview

You will contribute to an advanced people analytics environment that helps senior leaders, resource managers, and business partners understand team performance and make better decisions. The platform covers areas such as Staffing, GDO Operations, People Management, and related domains, and is backed by a team of more than 60 data professionals, including analysts, data scientists, engineers, and product managers.

What you will do

  • Take ownership of the analytics backlog for Demand Analytics initiatives by converting business problems into structured, actionable items.
  • Draft user stories and acceptance criteria, then work with the team to decompose scope and keep delivery aligned with the original business need.
  • Define the meaning, calculation approach, business rules, user audience, and decision impact for each metric.
  • Resolve edge cases and align metric definitions with stakeholders and the delivery team.
  • Build strong working relationships with WPM leaders, Staffing Partners, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Challenge unclear requests and translate business questions into practical analytical outcomes.
  • Collaborate daily with Data Product Analysts / BI Developers and Data Product Engineers to shape solutions, review logic, clarify requirements, and support trade-off decisions during delivery.
  • Lead adoption activities such as training, communication, and change management.
  • Promote a product mindset by ensuring semantic and metric definitions are governed centrally and reused across consumption channels.

What we are looking for

  • Experience owning products in an Agile/Scrum setting, including backlog prioritization, user stories, acceptance criteria, and close involvement through delivery.
  • Strong ability to define business metrics and KPIs, then translate them into calculation logic, decision rules, and workable requirements.
  • Comfort with validating assumptions, definitions, and edge cases with both senior business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Background on data analytics projects, with the ability to turn business questions into analytical requirements and support insight delivery.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, including presenting to senior leaders and aligning business and technical viewpoints.
  • Experience collaborating across analysts, BI developers, and engineers from discovery through release.
  • Working familiarity with BI and analytics platforms such as Power BI or Tableau.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of staffing metrics, resource management processes, and the day-to-day decisions made by WPM leaders and Staffing Partners.
  • Experience translating business needs into technical specifications, including requirements for freshness, granularity, and semantics.
  • Experience supporting adoption of new tools, processes, or data products through training and communication planning.

Benefits and working environment

  • Work with a team of like-minded professionals on innovative solutions used by industry leaders worldwide.
  • Choose between a vibrant office environment or the comfort of working from home.
  • Travel abroad for up to two months each year.
  • Access relocation options across offices in more than 55 countries.
  • Participate in corporate and social events.
  • Receive leadership development, career guidance, soft skills support, and well-being programs.
  • Earn certifications such as GCP, Azure, and AWS.
  • Use unlimited LinkedIn Learning and Udemy access.
  • Attend free English classes with certified teachers.
  • Join the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
  • Receive monetary bonuses through the referral program.
  • Get comprehensive medical and family care coverage.
  • Enjoy four trust days per year for personal needs.
  • Access fitness club discounts.
  • Use a broader benefits package covering hotels, restaurants, stores, and services.
