Finance Expert

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to support a remote, contractor-based assignment for a customer team. In this expert annotation role, you will apply strong financial knowledge to evaluate image and video content, create demanding finance-focused questions, and help improve the quality of a technology-driven project.

What You Will Do

• Carefully assess financial content presented in image and video formats.
• Write advanced, subject-specific questions that require genuine finance expertise to answer.
• Classify each task by the correct category and subcategory so it reaches the right expert.
• Work with specialists from other domains to maintain accuracy and relevance.
• Keep up with market developments and regulatory updates to support better question design and tagging.
• Review feedback and refine the quality and challenge level of the questions you create.
• Follow applicable regulatory requirements and internal quality standards throughout the annotation work.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong background in financial modeling, financial analysis, and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with modern financial reporting tools.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, accounting fundamentals, and data analysis.
• Experience with cost improvement initiatives and technology-led business settings.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving ability.
• Clear written and spoken communication skills, especially for drafting complex, high-level questions.
• Prior experience managing projects and stakeholders in consulting or finance roles.

Preferred Background

• Experience creating, reviewing, or assessing finance-related questions or annotations.
• Exposure to regulatory compliance in international finance environments.
• Familiarity with expert crowdsourcing or remote specialist consulting work.

Additional Information

This is a remote contractor position. The assignment is focused on expert-level finance content evaluation and question creation for a customer project.
