Housekeeper

Role overview

Hartford Care is looking for a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at Moorhill Care Home in Southampton (SO30 3AZ). The position is available with both full-time and part-time hours, and the work is carried out on site.

In this role, you will support the home’s hygiene and cleanliness standards while contributing to a positive, caring atmosphere for residents and colleagues. The job calls for someone who takes pride in spotless surroundings and understands the importance of kindness in day-to-day interactions.

What the role involves

Your day-to-day work may include cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, and communal areas, caring for houseplants, and completing cleaning records. The role may also involve chatting with residents while you work and supporting the wider team in creating a warm community feel.
